They're going to work together, to support local employers affected by COVID-19.
Niagara's mayors and Regional Chair Jim Bradley have decided to form the Niagara Economic Rapid Response Team.
It's going to include professional economic development staff and they're going to respond to the changing needs of local businesses in the Region.
This means municipal resources will be able to go beyond municipal boundaries to make sure all Niagara businesses receive support.
The team is already starting to survey business needs.
It's also collecting information about federal and provincial support programs.
Business owners can contact their local economic development office or send an e-mail to info@niagaracanada.com for more information.
