The Niagara Economic Response Team is accepting applications for the Tourism Adaptation and Recovery Fund Program.
The initiative was made possible thanks to funding from the Federal Economic Development Agency of Southern Ontario.
The Tourism Adaptation and Recovery Fund program will provide grants to tourism-dependent businesses and Arts and Culture non-profit organizations to assist them with meeting COVID-19 safety measures put forth by Public Health officials.
Priority will be given to projects that create or retain jobs and increase the business' competitiveness and sustainability post-COVID-19.
Eligible recipients will be required to cover at least 20 percent of the necessary funds, and they must be able to prove that they lost revenue due to the pandemic.
