Union tweeted she served for 24 years
Tributes are coming in from around the Niagara region after the death of a Niagara EMS worker.
Niagara Paramedics and Dispatchers union has tweeted its sadness, and is mourning the loss of their colleague, who served 24 years.
The Standard is reporting that the Niagara Region confirms she was the victim in the 1st degree murder case in Vineland.
Police were called to Victoria Avenue Wednesday.
A 56-year old man has been charged, in what police are calling a case of domestic violence.
It was just recently that Niagara Regional council voted for action against domestic violence, as well as to help paramedics who face increased violence while on the job.
