Over 50 people sent to area hospitals with injuries
A tour bus bound for Niagara Falls rolled and crashed early yesterday morning on the New York State Thruway in Weedsport, a small town west of Syracuse.
State police say there were 57 passengers on board the bus at the time of the crash.
The bus tour originated in Poughkeepsie.
Injuries ranged from minor to serious.
State Troopers say they have no idea why the bus veered off the road causing it to flip onto its side.
