One of the largest public green spaces in Niagara Falls is getting 50 new trees.
The plant will happen at Fireman's Park on October 3rd from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
It's part of Earth Day Canada's 50th Anniversary Tree Planting Relay.
The native species trees were donated by Land Care Niagara and will help restore ones lost to Emerald Ash Borer.
Participation in the event has been restricted and COVID-19 protocols will be in place.
