It'll be done this weekend, recognizing Ronald Jamieson
A retired Niagara Falls fire fighter will be honoured this weekend.
The fire department is having a Line of Duty Death Ceremony Sunday morning at the fire station on Morrison Street, adding Ronald Jamieson to the memorial.
The memorial was built to give a permenant place to honour and remember fire fighters who have died on the job, or from a work-related illness.
Everyone is welcome.
The first Line of Duty Death dedication ceremony was in 2004, the unveiling of the memorial in 2018, with 16 fire fighters honoured since then.
