Man charged with attempted murder after a woman was stabbed in Niagara Falls.
A Niagara Falls man has been charged with attempted murder.
Around 4:25 a.m. on September 3rd, police were called to the area of Eastwood Crescent and Ontario Avenue, in response to a stabbing.
A female victim was found with multiple stab wounds, and was taken to hospital.
The victim has since been released from hospital.
Police say while the victim and the suspect didn't know each other, the pair met in the area of Falls Avenue and Clifton Hill about 20 minutes before the incident.
They left the area in a maroon/burgundy pickup truck.
Facing charges is 32 year old Edward James Kasper.
Kasper will appear in court today.
