Police say it happened at Niagara Falls Costco
A sexual assault charge has been laid against a 79-year old Niagara Falls man after an assault at a Costco store.
Police were called on Friday to the Pin Oak Drive store, and learned a suspect had been observed acting suspiciously around women customers.
Police soon found out the man matched the description of a sexual assault suspect in the store the prior Tuesday, in which a woman in her 20s was touched inappropriately.
On Friday, store personnel held the suspect while police were on their way, but he broke free and drove off.
Later that afternoon, police say they arrested him at a Niagara Falls home.
Kim Chan Pham had a bail hearing Saturday in St. Catharines.
