NRP seized sawed off shotgun and other weapons in search of Niagara Falls home
A 48 year old Niagara Falls man is facing a slew of charges after Niagara Regional Police responded to a call for threats in St. Catharines on Friday.
NRP say the man had allegedly threatened to harm a woman and her property.
Further investigation revealed that the man may illegally be in possession of firearms leading police to search a Niagara Falls home in the area of Glenholme Avenue and High Street
As a result of the search police seized a sawed off shot gun, high powered pellet rifles, 1 BB revolver and a quantity of drugs.
The suspect has been charged with various drug charges as well as possession of firearms without a licence as well as uttering threats.
The man was held in custody for a video bail hearing to have taken place on the long weekend.
