Niagara Falls Man Facing Weapon, Trespassing Charges After Wasaga Beach Incident

Police found loaded firearm in car

A Niagara Falls man is facing charges in connection with an incident at Wasaga Beach.

Around 1:00 a.m. on Monday, Huronia West OPP received a report about a suspicious vehicle on River Road West.

A man was found sleeping in the driver's seat.

Police say a loaded gun was found in the car.

Balford Gordon, 37, faces trespassing and weapon related charges.

The suspect had a bail hearing, and has been remanded into custody.

Gordon will appear in a Barrie court later this week.
