OLG says Arthur Atkinson, an eye doctor, is taking home $100,000 prize, after playing January 4th draw
Some good news for a Niagara Falls man, he's won the lottery with Ontario 49.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says Arthur Atkinson, an optometrist, won $100,000 after matching the last 6 of 7-Encore numbers in the January 4th draw.
The father of four, and grandfather of four, says when he realized the win, he must have said "wow" 50 times.
He adds his wife is currently on a cruise, so when she comes back, he'll throw a reveal party.
He also says he's felt for years he would win, and with it plans to help those in need, do some home renovations, and invest.
The OLG says the ticket was bought at Avondale on Montrose Road in Niagara Falls.
