Council wants more public input before making final decision
Do you want to shovel snow on the sidewalk in front of your house or have your pay for in your taxes to have the city do it.
That's the question Niagara Falls Councillors want to know before enacting any bylaw requiring homeowners to take care of public sidewalks.
At last week's meeting, Council approved an enhancement to their current snow clearing services.
They opted to hold off on making a decision on a bylaw until they get more public feedback through a refined survey.
