City facilities will go dark for one hour Saturday night, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The City of Niagara Falls and Park in the City Committee are encouraging residents to take part in Earth Hour this Saturday.
Earth Hour is a global movement urging individuals, businesses and governments to take accountability for their environmental footprint.
Locally, residents and businesses are encouraged to participate by shutting off their lights from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM on Saturday.
