Expect to see more street sweepers cleaning the streets
The city’s Street Sweeping Program will begin Saturday and will continue for a full week weather permitting.
So far city crews have cleaned up about 20 percent of local streets sweeping away salt lines, bike lanes and main lines.
On Saturday, a contractor will join the effort to make sure the remainder of streets get a spring clean up.
Residents are asked not to park on city streets if possible during the next week.
