Lynn Guerriero has been given an honorary diploma in Health Studies
Niagara College is recognizing the President and CEO of Niagara Health.
The school has presented an honorary degree in Health Studies to Lynn Guerriero.
During this year's convocation ceremony, she thanked program graduates for choosing to go into healthcare, especially during a critical time.
"As you’ve likely heard, our healthcare system is facing challenging times and a shortage of skilled healthcare workers is the biggest of our challenges," she noted. "Thankfully, we know that part of the
solution is sitting right here in front of me. No matter what program you are graduating from or what your specialty might be in the future, Ontarians need you. So thank you for choosing this path."
Over the past year, Niagara Health has welcomed over 1,300 healthcare students from its educational partners.
