Niagara Health is taking to social media in order to educate the public on misconceptions about the COVID-19 vaccine.
Leaders from both Niagara Health and the Niagara Community Coordination Task Force for COVID-19 Vaccination have created several videos to answer questions about the shot.
The questions include:
- Can I get the virus from the vaccine?
- Why should I get a vaccine?
- Should I get the vaccine if I’m pregnant or have health complications?
The videos can be viewed here, and more are expected within the coming weeks.
This comes as Niagara Health notes a dramatic rise in COVID-19 patients in the critical care capacity.
