Niagara Health is now offering COVID-19 testing without a doctor's referral.
If you’re experiencing symptoms of the virus or think you have been exposed, you can book an appointment at the assessment centres in Niagara Falls and St. Catharines.
All you have to do is call 905-378-4647 with extension 42819 (4-CV19).
They will also accept walk-in appointments, but you will have to wait in your vehicle while registration and other administrative procedures are completed over the phone.
The St. Catharines Assessment Centre is located at the back of the St. Catharines Hospital, behind the Walker Family Cancer Centre.
The Niagara Falls Assessment Centre is located in the Allied Health building behind Greater Niagara General Hospital.
Both assessment centres have their own separate entrances.
Niagara Health has tested over 9,400 people as its assessment centres to date.
