You can now stay a bit longer if you're visiting a loved one in hospital.
Niagara Health is introducing new visiting hours starting today from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Each patient will only be able to have one visitor at a time and they won't be able to wander around the hospital.
Visitors have to be over 18-years-old and they'll have to bring their own mask, sanitize their hands and pass a COVID-19 screening once they arrive.
Exceptions for additional visitors or extended visiting hours will be limited and they will be made on a case-by-case basis.
