Niagara Health will recognize 25 nurses on Thursday at the Nursing Excellence Awards
It's National Nursing Week, and Niagara Health is celebrating a record number of its nurses.
On Thursday, the organization will recognize 25 award recipients in nine categories at the Nursing Excellence Awards.
"Our team of nurses at Niagara Health serve as role models for all of us on how to kindly and compassionately care for our patients," says Lynn Guerriero, President and CEO. "During the last several years, they have faced immense pressures, and handled it with the upmost professionalism and dedication. I am grateful for everything they do and look forward to honouring these staff and their accomplishments."
Nursing week runs until May 14th.
Niagara Falls will also mark Nursing Week by lighting up in blue tomorrow.
The illumination will take place from 10 PM until 10:15.
