Centennial Construction & Contracting President Domenic DiLalla has donated $2 million to the new South Niagara Site.
Niagara Health has received another big donation to help towards the building of its new South Niagara site.
Domenic DiLalla, President of Centennial Construction and Contracting has donated $2 million towards the cause.
DiLalla says he was inspired to help after undergoing a quadruple bypass earlier this year.
"The best thing you can do is give back to your community, especially for hospitals and healthcare, because it is something that every single person needs at some point in their lifetime, whether it is a loved one, your neighbor, or yourself."
The Niagara Health Foundation says in recognition of the gift, the Cardio-Respiratory Diagnostics Unit being named The DiLalla Family Cardio-Respiratory Diagnostics Unit.

This generous gift, inspired by the DiLalla family’s personal experience with heart disease, will help ensure future generations of Niagara residents receive high-quality care in the new Cardio-Respiratory Diagnostics Unit." - Lynn Guerriero, President and CEO, Niagara Health.
To date, over $22 million has been raised towards the building of the new hospital.
