Accreditation Canada has given Niagara Health it's highest rating.
It received Accreditation with Exemplary Standing, for a second year in a row.
Interim President Angela Zangari says this is great news.
"Our patients and families deserve our very best, and our accreditation with exemplary status demonstrates the hard work of everyone on our team to be extraordinary for our patients and families."
Officials evaluated Niagara Health's programs and services and compared them to the national standards.
They applauded Niagara Health for it's kind and caring culture, strong community partnerships and the launch of the new Niagara Health Engagement Network.
