Niagara Health to Begin Providing Second Vaccinations to Healthcare Workers

High-risk healthcare workers in Niagara will soon be able to get their second COVID-19 shot.

Niagara Health has started contacting impacted workers who are eligible for their second dose.

This includes Niagara Health staff and physicians with a high risk of exposure, first responders, certain community healthcare workers, and long-term care and retirement home staff and essential caregivers.

Meanwhile, community vaccination efforts continue, and existing first-dose appointments will not be impacted.
