Niagara Health is about to open a new COVID-19 Assessment Centre.
It’s going to be located outside the Scotiabank Convention Centre in Niagara Falls and its only for tourism and hospitality workers.
Niagara Health Executive Vice President Derek McNally says this temporary centre will help prevent overcrowding and shorten wait times at the other assessment centres in Niagara Falls, St. Catharines and Welland.
It opens tomorrow and all appointments will have to be booked through Niagara Falls Tourism in advance.
