The Welland hospital back to normal, Niagara Falls hospital had a flood in July
The Welland hospital is back to normal operations after a flood.
Niagara Health says this was due to an internal pipe burst, which impacted the Medical Device Reprocessing department, operating rooms, and patient care spaces.
Over at the Niagara Falls hospital, minor repairs continue after a water main break in July.
While the work continues, Niagara Health says patient care was minimally impacted, and most hospital services running normally.
The two floods were very different in nature, which is why timelines of disruption and repair varied.
