The region says locations in Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake open early September
More EarlyON Child and Family Centres are opening in the Niagara region, thanks to the public library.
The region says the library will be the new provider at centres in Niagara Falls, at Victoria Avenue, Stamford Centre, MacBain Centre, and Chippawa.
In Niagara on the Lake, it'll be at the Anderson Lane location.
The centres, which offer drop-in play-based programs for children with their parents/guardians, are expected to open by early September.
In a previous posting, our newsroom mistakenly indicated these centres are child care, that is incorrect, as noted by the Niagara Region, and apologize for any confusion.
