The Region is shining a spotlight on affordable housing.
It's teaming up with Niagara Regional Housing, the City of Niagara Falls and Canada Mortgage and Housing to look at what makes a great affordable housing project.
Developers, planners and community agencies will hear form local experts today about how to make their project successful.
An event is will be held at the Scotiabank Centre from 8:30 a.m. until noon.
National Housing Day is held each year on November 22nd.
It marks the declaration in 1998 from the Big City Mayor's Caucus, saying homelessness in Canada has reached crisis levels.
