The Town of Fort Erie could lift its state of emergency as early as today, its mayor says.
Wainfleet declared its state of emergency over Tuesday evening, and Port Colborne terminated its state of emergency late yesterday.
Fort Erie Mayor Wayne Redekop said his municipality appears to have been impacted most by the blizzard and that its emergency order would remain in effect probably until today.
Town officials are continuing to get a good handle on people who are still without power and what their situation is, said Redekop.
Canadian Niagara Power posted on social media that there were 680 customers awaiting power to be restored as of yesterday afternoon.
