No one was hurt, the but damage has been estimated at about $25,000.
Firefighters in Niagara-on-the-Lake responded to an attached garage fire shortly after 9:00 a.m. this morning, on East and West Line close to Four Mile Creek Road.
Fire Chief Nick Ruller says the homeowner had evacuated everyone in the home before crews arrived on scene.
Five trucks and 18 firefighters responded to the blaze and they were able to knock it down in about 12 minutes.
Ruller says the cause is undetermined but it's not suspicious.
