A new Official Plan is in the works for the Region. In a video posted online, Director of Planning Rino Mostacci says it will help shape Niagara's growth and development over the next 20 years.
He says the Niagara Region could grow to more than 600,000 people by 2041.
The Region will be hosting a handful of public open houses this month, so residents can learn more and provide input;
