Niagara, Hamilton, Burlington receive patients from overwhelmed hospitals,
The Hamilton Spec reporting Niagara Health is one of three hospital systems that are now taking care of critical care COVID-19 patients sent from overwhelmed hospitals in other parts of the province.
Fifteen patients were sent to Niagara, Hamilton, and Burlington hospitals.
This comes as Niagara saw another drop in COVID-19 cases yesterday.
Public health reporting 89 new cases of the virus along with two new outbreaks bringing the total number of outbreaks to 55.
