Niagara Skydiver Dies While Performing Manoeuvre

Experienced skydiver dies while performing at Skydive Burnaby in Wainfleet.

One person has died following a tragic incident at a skydiving centre in Wainfleet.

Around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Niagara EMS were called to Skydive Burnaby in Wainfleet.

Co-owner Tara Pitt tells us an experienced skydiver died while performing a high performance canopy manoeuvre.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

NRP Corporate Communications Manager Stephanie Sabourin tells us a criminal investigation has not been launched.
