Heavy rain expected on Thursday

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the region, calling for heavy rain Thursday morning into the evening.
About 15 to 25 mm is expected.
The rain will taper off by Thursday evening.
The area could also see strong winds on Thursday afternoon, and localized flooding is possible.
The weather office also warns utility outages could occur.
