Province wants major amusement park included in tourism plans, which may not include Marineland
A major amusement park is part of plans to turn the Niagara region into Las Vegas north, but that park may not be Marineland.
Ontario's tourism minister Stan Cho says he has not spoken to Marineland, which is currently for sale.
He says the province wants to see more casinos, fine-dining, hotels and mass transit in an effort to boost tourism.
Marineland said last year it was up for sale, but it has yet to announce a deal.
