Masks are now mandatory in Niagara.
The Region's mask bylaw is now in effect so you'll have to wear one if you decide to go shopping, take public transit or go to the movies.
It also applies to places of worship, hotel common areas, municipal buildings and other enclosed public spaces.
It will not apply to hospitals, schools, day cares and buildings owned by the provincial or federal governments.
Kids under 5-years-old and those who can't wear a mask due to a medical condition will also be exempt.
The bylaw will be in effect until October 1st.
