Another person has died of COVID-19 in Niagara.
The area's death toll is now at 409, after a person in the 40-59 age group died of the virus.
This comes as Niagara Public Health confirms nine new cases of the virus today.
Currently, 25 COVID-19 patients remain within Niagara Health, with 10 patients in ICUs.
The area has 453 active cases and 15 active outbreaks.
So far, over 318,000 vaccinations have been administered in the region.
