The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) won't be pressing charges after the death of a man in St. Catharines.
On December 4th, the NRPS received a call about a man hanging from a cable attached to a tree on Gales Crescent near Frank Street.
The man reportedly had several interactions with the NRPS that day, so the SIU was notified of the incident.
Joseph Martino, Director of the Special Investigations Unit, says there are no grounds to believe that the man's death was caused by criminal actions.
