Fireworks cancelled due to air quality advisory
There won't be any fireworks over the Falls tonight.
Niagara Falls Tourism says the nightly show has been cancelled for this evening, due to air quality advisories.
At the moment, the region is under a special air quality statement, due to wildfires from northeast Ontario and Quebec.
Environment Canada says the advisory could extend into tomorrow.
However, the nine minute Canada Day and Independence Day fireworks shows are currently slated to go ahead as planned.
