Niagara-on-the-Lake Lord Mayor Betty Disero says we need to move forward peacefully.
Town Council is now asking horse carriage operators to move to the Byron and King Street area on the weekends in hopes of deescalating some the protests in the downtown core.
They're also hoping this will benefit local businesses in the Queen and King Street area.
Disero says she knows the move won't satisfy everyone but she's hoping it will create less confrontation.
