If you recently got a letter about the former Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital you should know that it was not sent by town officials.
It advises you to contact Lord Mayor Betty Disero and Town Councillors if you are in favour of reopening the local hospital.
The town says the Committee to Bring Back NOTL Hospital is not a committee of council and officials had no idea about this letter until recently.
The town does a Hospital Site Steering Committee which will help determine the future of the old Wellington Street property.
It is planning to launch a public engagement campaign on the Join the Conversation website in the near future.
