Follows success of redevelopment of Niagara Parks Power Station
The Parks Commission has issued two Requests for Information from private businesses interested in redeveloping two other decommissioned power stations.
The two sites include the former Toronto Power Generating Station and the Ontario Power Company Generating Station, both recognized as historically significant marvels of engineering and architecture.
The Toronto station is located on the brink of the upper Niagara River and the Ontario Power site in the lower Niagara Gorge.
