A flood warning has been issued for Lake Erie.
The NPCA says the water levels could go up 3.2 feet, to an elevation of 176.1 metres.
We could also see wave heights of 6.4 feet between Fort Erie and Haldimand County.
The water levels should start to build late Monday morning and later in the evening.
You should stay away from the Lake Erie shoreline
The NPCA says you should also close your storm shutters and take other flood precautions as necessary.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the Niagara Region.
It’s predicting between 20 and 30 milimetres of rain by Monday evening and strong wind gusts up to 100 kilometres per hour.
