Six people are facing impaired driving charges following NRP R.I.D.E. checks.
Between April 26th and May 2nd, two people from the Falls, and one person each from Grimsby, Hamilton, Brantford and Welland were arrested for either driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or for refusing to submit to a breathalyzer.
Each individual has also received a 90 day license suspension.

Impaired driving is the leading cause of criminal deaths in the country.
