Niagara Regional Police release latest impaired driving statistics.
Ten people are facing impaired driving charges following checkpoints in Niagara.
The charges were laid between February 14th and February 20th.
Four people from St. Catharines, two from Niagara Falls, and one person each from Thorold, Port Colborne, Fort Erie, and North Tonawanda, New York were arrested.
Charges were laid for driving while impaired by drugs or alcohol, driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit, or refusing to provide a breath or blood sample.
Each person was also issued a 90 day license suspension.
Members of the public who spot a suspected impaired driver are encouraged to contact the Niagara Regional Police Service Traffic Safety Hotline or Crime Stoppers.
