The NRP issued 27 tickets during a commercial vehicle inspection blitz in Lincoln.
Officers inspected 53 vehicles in the Lincoln Town Yard on Wednesday and they reported 17 out of service violations.
They also issued seven cargo violations and seven drivers were ticketed for being overweight.
Four drivers were ticketed for not conducting a safety check, two were caught driving without the proper license and three were allegedly driving in an unsafe manner.
Four vehicles had their license plates removed after they were deemed unfit.
