Two local women were arrested at Devon Place address, police also finding crystal meth, cannabis, after summer time investigation

Police finding more fentanyl and other drugs in Niagara, this time in a Crystal Beach house.

The investigation of the suspected sale of drugs at a Devon Place address started this summer, leading police to search it yesterday.

They found:

Police say 52-year old Rosario Morin, of Crystal Beach, was arrested at the scene and charged with:

Two counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl - CDSA
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – MDMA - CDSA
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine -CDSA
Possession of Cannabis for the Purpose of Distributing – Cannabis Act
Possession of a Prohibited Weapon – Criminal Code
Possession of a Restricted Firearm without a Licence – Criminal Code
Careless Storage of a Firearm – Criminal Code
Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – Criminal Code

Police say she also had the following in her possession:

She was kept in custody, with a bail hearing today.

Police also arrested 51-year old Denise Audit, of Crystal Beach, and charged her with:

Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, Fentanyl - CDSA
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, MDMA - CDSA
Possession of Cannabis for the Purpose of Distributing – Cannabis Act
Possession of a Prohibited Weapon – Criminal Code
Possession of a Restricted Firearm without a Licence – Criminal Code
Careless Storage of a Firearm – Criminal Code

She was released with a future court date.
