They stopped about 400 vehicles Friday night, one driver refused to give a breath sample, others were more cooperative
One driver was arrested in Niagara after more RIDE checks Friday night, this time in Niagara Falls.
Throughout the night police say they stopped roughly 400 vehicles, checking for impairment by alcohol or drugs, and asked 21 drivers to give breath samples.
They add the one driver refused, was arrested, and the licence was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle is impounded for a week.
Police also say they issued 20 tickets for other traffic related offences.
