The NRP is investigating a suspicious persons report in St. Catharines.
Around 3:25 PM on Monday, a ten year old girl and a 13 year old girl were walking westbound on Parnell Road and Niagara Street when they noticed an adult male walking in their direction, loudly talking on a cell phone about them.
The girls became concerned and waited for another parent who was also walking in the area.
The man kept walking and went into the backseat of a car near Parnell Road and Niagara Street, heading southbound on Niagara Street.
The car is described as a maroon and burgundy sedan with grey spots on the roof.
The man who was walking is described as white and between the ages of 20 and 30.
He was wearing a baggy black jacket and a black beanie.
The driver is described as a white male between 20 and 30 years old.
He was wearing a hat and a plaid or camouflage green bandana over his face.
The men did not communicate directly with the girls, and police say that right now there are no grounds to believe a criminal offence occurred.
The police do wish to identify the males and determine their intentions.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call detectives at 905-688-4111, extension 1024233.
