The NRP was able to track down an impaired driver thanks to one of it's K9 officers.
Police responded to a single-vehicle rollover in St. Catharines early yesterday morning
A grey car rolled over in the Louth Street and Crestcombe Road area and it burst into flames afterwards.
The driver ran away from the scene and fire crews were able to extinguish the fire.
Police Service Dog Jax was able to locate the driver in the Cornwell Circle and Vintage Crescent area less than an hour later.
The 24-year-old man from Toronto was not hurt but he has been charged with impaired driving and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
His license has also been suspended for 90 days.
