NRP Puts Stop to Crime Spree

Niagara Falls man arrested in Crystal Beach, facing long list of charges

A Niagara Falls man wanted by police for a crime spree has been captured.

It started June 17th, when two suspects broke into a Welland car dealership at night and stole two trailers.

Police eventually learned one of them was 35-year old Jeremy Boyer, who at the time was wanted for:

  • Fail to Comply with Release Order
  • Fail to Comply with Probation
  • Operate Conveyance While Prohibited
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
  • Theft Over $5000

Since that night, police say he's been wanted for 19 other crimes, and four times they say he intentionally hit police cars, causing significant damage, while trying to escape.

No one was hurt.

It came to an end Monday night, when police found him hiding in the attic of a Crystal Beach home.

He was kept behind bars after a bail hearing yesterday, and faces a long list of charges:

  • Fail to Comply with Probation (6 counts)
  • Fail to Attend Court
  • Assault a Peace Officer with a Weapon
  • Flight From Police (2 counts)
  • Dangerous Operation (3 counts)
  • Break and Enter
  • Theft of a Motor Vehicle
  • Fail to Stop at the Scene of an Accident (2 Counts)
  • Operate Conveyance While Prohibited (6 Counts)
  • Theft Under $5000
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 (5 counts)
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 (2 counts)
