Police stopped a man on an electric scooter
A man has been arrested after police say he was dealing drugs near a shelter in Niagara Falls.
It was yesterday afternoon when police were in the Main and Ferry Street area, and they noticed a man on an electric scooter dealing drugs.
Police say he then went to a nearby shelter, where they arrested him, as he attempted to make another drug transaction.
30-year old Antonio Iuliani of St. Catharines is charged:
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Possession of Schedule 1 Substance for Trafficking (Opioid Fentanyl)
- Possession of Schedule 1 Substance for Trafficking (Cocaine)
- Possession of Schedule 1 Substance for Trafficking Opioid Hydromorphone)
Police found he had:
- 35.5 grams of suspected fentanyl (estimated value $3,550)
- 14.1 grams of suspected cocaine (estimated value $1,440)
- 42 tablets of suspected Dilaudid (estimated value $420)
- $6,000 of Canadian Currency
- Bear Spray
He was released with a future court date.
